How do the NHS TDRM with Oviva and the Cambridge Diet differ?

NHS TDRM:

  • The T2DR programme consists mainly of soups and shakes which is slightly different from the Cambridge that has a wider array of products. Click here to find out more.
  • The NHS T2DR programme is free for those referred on to it.
  •  NHS T2DR, initially you will have fortnightly appointments, then this transitions to monthly appointments – these appointments can be either virtually, in-person, or over the phone depending on the option you select.  Face-to-face appointments are held at Meadway Leisure Centre.

Cambridge:

  • Cambridge diet has more options in regards to meal replacement products and step up meals.
  • Cambridge costs £57 per week whilst you are on Step 1 and 2, and them £38 on Step 3, this reduces further as you progress through to Step 6.
  • Weekly appointments with your Cambridge Consultant, both in-person, virtually, or over the telephone, throughout your entire time on the diet – this option may be more suitable for those who would like more consistent support throughout their Diabetes Remission Journey.
